Our Work
A deep learning project classifying brain MRI scans into four categories: Glioma, Meningioma, Pituitary Tumor, and No Tumor, using three CNN architectures of increasing complexity. Best model achieved 89.62% accuracy with a macro F1 score of 0.896.
Who I am
My name is Michael. I am a first-generation college graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Winona State University. With 2.5+ years of hands-on experience in Healthcare IT, working closely with healthcare systems and development teams has given me vital insight on how important software is in the medical field.
I am invested in how AI can enhance the medical field by helping providers detect abnormalities sooner, and ensuring that patients are able to receive the appropriate treatment immediately. I'm constantly building, learning and growing as an engineer.
I genuinely enjoy the process of building and bringing a client's vision to life. There's nothing more satisfying than delivering a final product that exceeds expectations.
